Market, cathedral and Rialto

Move from the market area to the cathedral, then finish around Rialto. This follows three different sides of the centre: trade, worship and performance.

Format: City walk

Why follow this sequence

Move from the market area to the cathedral, then finish around Rialto. This follows three different sides of the centre: trade, worship and performance.

Stops and choices

  1. Municipal Market

Use the market building as an orientation stop. Select food or shopping from the actual businesses trading when you visit; the historic name does not establish a current stall list or market-day schedule.

  2. Agia Napa Cathedral

Search with Limassol included in the destination. Combine the exterior with the nearby old-town streets, and treat an interior visit around religious services rather than as a guaranteed tour stop.

  3. Rialto Theatre

Choose a dated performance first, then plan the evening around its start time. The theatre building can be a landmark on a daytime walk, but that does not imply a performance or public interior access.

Practical decisions

A theatre exterior is possible without a performance ticket. Build an evening show around its dated programme rather than assuming one runs daily.
