Routes / Castle, marina and Molos
Castle, marina and Molos
Start with the castle and its medieval context, continue to the marina, then use Molos for the waterfront part of the outing.
Format: City walk
Why follow this sequence
Start with the castle and its medieval context, continue to the marina, then use Molos for the waterfront part of the outing.
Stops and choices
- Limassol Castle
Go inside if medieval objects and interpretation are your priority. If your aim is a waterfront walk, the castle exterior can provide the historical anchor without compressing a museum visit into a few minutes.
- Limassol Marina
Keep the marina as the western part of a waterfront walk. A berth or yacht charter is a separate service, so send the operator a precise meeting location instead of assuming every vessel leaves from the same entrance.
- Molos Promenade
Use the sculpture-lined waterfront for the outdoor part of a castle visit. Pick a clear turnaround point before continuing east; a promenade walk does not need to become an undefined beach-to-beach trek.
Practical decisions
Decide on the castle interior before adding the promenade. The marina is a destination in its own right, not evidence that a yacht excursion is included.
